Mrs. Nitschke has been teaching theatre and directing shows for over fifteen years. She has a BA in Theater from UCLA and has been acting since she was a little kid!

Mr. Mora has been working in professional technical theatre for almost 30 years. He found his love of working backstage while in high school and has since worked for local theatres such as Musical Theatre West, 3D Theatricals, and The La Mirada Theatre. Mr. Mora is beyond excited to be the Technical Director and teach stagecraft at Benton!

Benton Middle School is a Visual and Performing Arts Magnet and the Theater Department strives to give all students the opportunity to experience theater.
Students can take Beginning Drama, Intermediate Drama, Advanced Drama, Stagecraft, and Advanced Stagecraft. All students are able to audition for and crew shows. |
Benton Theater is part of the International Thespian Honor Society with a Junior Thespian Troupe #89723.
Thespians honor student achievement in theater and grants them access to resources outside of the school. Mrs. Nitschke is the former Co-Chapter Director for California Thespians. |
